Michael is from Denver, Colorado and moved to Provo, Utah to attend Brigham Young University where he studied civil engineering. His experience at BYU included traveling to Europe to study ancient and modern engineering feats, working as a teaching assistant for the structural analysis course and freshman seminar, and serving as secretary for the student chapter of ASCE. He joined Acute Engineering after his junior year in May of 2019. In April of 2020, he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree and began working at Acute as a full-time project engineer. He has experience with a variety of projects such as timber frames, retaining walls, ICF structures, and steel moment frames. When he’s not working on his own projects, he assists in training younger engineers as well as further developing and improving company tools.
